- Greyson Chance Pukau Penonton Jakarta tadi malam
JAKARTA- Greyson Chance yang tampil kedua kalinya di Indonesia masih mendapat sambutan baik dari penggemarnya. Penyanyi asal Amerika Serikat itu, konser di JITEC Mangga Dua Square, Jakarta (20/4/2012) tadi malam.
Konser dibuka dengan penampilan penyanyi wanita Camryn Magness. Penonton ynag kebanyakan dari kalangan remaja tidak sabar menunggu penampilan idola, mereka terus menerus memanggil nama Greyson. Sekitar pukul 20.45 WIB yang ditunggu akhirnya keluar dengan mengenakan jaket hitam sambil mengusung bendera Merah Putih.
Penonton yang jumlahnya mencapai 3000an lebih langsung bersorak gembira. Tanpa buang waktu, remaja berusia 14 tahun ini langsung melantunkan "Unfriend You", "Heart Like Stone" dan "Light Up The Dark".
"Apa kabar Jakarta? saya sangat excited ada di Indonesia. Sebelumnya saya pernah datag ke Hard Rock Cafe, tapi enggak kayak sekarang. Sekarangfansnya ada banyak banget. Terimakasih atas cinta dan suport kalian," sapa Greyson di JITEC Mangga Dua Square, Jakarta, Jumat (20/4/2012).
Sebelumnya, Greyson terkenal melalui videonya di Youtube yang mengcoverlagu "Paparazzi" milik Lady Gaga dan pada kesempatan ini membawakan lagu tersebut. Greyson kemudian menunjukkan kemahirannya dalam memainkan piano. Dengan jemarinya yang lentik, Greyson sukses bikin penonton terpukau dengan sosoknya sebagai penghibur yang baik.
Dalam konser ini, tata panggung dan tata lampunya tidak ada yang begitu spesial. Hanya ada layar besar yang menghiasi latar panggung. Pencahayaannya pun tidak terlihat begitu menawan. Namun, penampilan Greyson Chance yang bagus malam itu bakal tak dilupakan penonton.
"Ini lagu favorit saya saat rekaman. Kalian membuat saya terkejut. Kemarin waktu saya datang ke bandara, saya sangat terkejut soalnya manajemen bilang paling cuma sekitar 50 orang penggemar yang ada dibandara, tahunya sampai 300an. Terimakasih semuanya," ujar Greyson langsung memainkan tembang "Waiting Outside The Lines".
Greyson cukup banyak memainkan piano pada lagunya seperti "Summertrain", "Cheyenne", "Hold On Till The Night" dan "Rolling in The Deep" milik Adele.
Greyson juga membawakan banyak lagu dari album perdananya yang bertajuk "Greyson Chance" seperti "Fire", "Running" Away, "Little London Girl", "Home is in Your Eyes", "Purple Sky", dan "Take a Look at Me Now". Serta lagu milik Foster The People yang berjudul "Pump up Kicks".

" Saya suka kemacetan disini. Ini serius, hahaha. Ketika kamu ada di kota kecil, ketika kamu bepergian dari satu tempat ke tempat lain itu akan cepat sekali sampainya. Asia! What an amazing trip I had there. For those of you who don’t know,
I just got back from my first promo trip in Asia. I went to Malaysia,
Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia. Each place was different and
loaded with culture! It was amazing to see how different and also how
similar the countries are to America.The food was amazing too! Lots of
spicy sauces, I was afraid to try a lot of them. Too spicy for me! I
think the best thing about going, was to meet and see all the fans! I
loved seeing how dedicated, loyal, and polite they all were. It was
crazy, because the album had only come out a couple weeks before I came
and they knew all the words to every song! It was crazy. Another cool
thing was that I got to play all acoustic sets; just me and the piano.
That was really great because it kept the show intimate. I was sad to
leave Asia but I hope to come back very soon. To all the fans there, I
love you all and I will see you soon!!!
